2. What this website collects

This website uses no analytics or advertising services (no Google Analytics, no Facebook pixel, no third-party embeds). It consists of static files delivered via Amazon CloudFront. When you visit, the host processes the access data that every web server handles for technical reasons (IP address, time, page requested, browser type). The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and stable operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Our processor is Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL, 38 Avenue John F. Kennedy, 1855 Luxembourg.

To keep dates, prices, available places and the content of the Offroad Experience, Tech, Gear and UBBOM pages up to date, your browser requests them directly from our shop at shop.motoworldtours.com when you open those pages, the home page or the UBBOM event page. For technical reasons it transmits your IP address, the time of the request, the address requested, the address of this website and details about your browser (e.g. browser type and version). The legal basis is our legitimate interest in showing you current dates, prices, available places and content (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

The shop is operated on our behalf by elvio GbR, Wasserkamp 39, 38442 Wolfsburg, Germany, on Amazon Web Services servers in Frankfurt am Main; every request to the shop passes through the network of Cloudflare, Inc., USA. Details, including on transfers to the USA, are in the shop’s privacy policy.

3. Contact form

If you write to us using the contact form, your browser sends your name, email address, subject, message and – if provided – phone number to our shop at shop.motoworldtours.com. The shop forwards the message to us by email and sends you a copy at the address you gave; the shop itself does not store it. The shop also adds the time of receipt and the page it was sent from to the message it forwards to us. To stop the form being misused on a large scale, the shop briefly counts how many messages come from your IP address (at most three in ten minutes and ten a day); nothing is stored permanently. To send the emails, elvio GbR, which operates the shop on our behalf, uses the email service Resend by Plus Five Five, Inc., USA; Resend processes your email address and the content of the message. Details, including on transfers to the USA, are in the shop’s privacy policy.

We process these details to answer your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where it relates to a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We keep the message for as long as handling it requires and statutory retention obligations demand.

4. Cookies

This website sets no cookies. In your browser’s local storage it only remembers which video the hero section last started with, so that a different one starts on your next visit; this stays in your browser and never reaches our servers.

Bookings and purchases are handled by our shop, where its own privacy policy applies.

6. Your rights
